Join us at Taurasi Restaurant in downtown Westmont (steps from the metra station) on Tuesday, April 18th, at 6:30pm for a spectacular and authentic 5 course wine dinner featuring wines from Schola Sarmenti, and winemaker Mr. Lorenzo Morra. Located on the heel tip of Italy’s boot, the vineyards of Schola Sarmenti are grown on soils rich with marine fossils and surrounded by hedges and trees, just a small step away from the sea. Lorenzo says their goal is to make wines that speak of their land, culture, and cuisine.
Taurasi's chef/owner/sommelier, Raffaele Cirillo, will take you on a culinary journey of southern Italian cuisine, highlighting the region of Puglia, perfectly paring regional wine with regional cuisine.
