Award-wining Chef Michael Arrastia returns to prepare another hearty Irish meal and celebrate our inn's rich Irish history!

Chef Michael is Executive Chef of Honest Town Eats in Southbridge, MA. The name Honest Town pays homage to the first European settlers who arrived in Southbridge in the early 18th century and originally incorporated the town as “Honest Town” in 1816. Chef Michael is an award winning chef who received critical acclaim as executive chef of the Bacon Gastropub "The Hangover Pub" in Worcester, Massachusetts. Under his direction, the restaurant was awarded Best New Restaurant in Central Massachusetts and Best Brunch in the State of Massachusetts. He's been featured on Guy Fieri's Guy's Grocery Games and the Travel Channel's Man Vs. Food. His talents have also been featured on Chronicle, Phantom Gourmet, and NESN's Wicked Bites.

The Westbrook Inn was first settled as Nutfield in 1719 by twenty Scotch-Irish families from Ireland. Nutfield is believed to be the first Scotch-Irish settlement in America. Westbrook's land was used as the Common Field where the first white potato, an Irish staple, in America was planted. It's an honor for the Siragusa family to celebrate their Irish heritage with West Cork Distillers.
