It's Oscar season, and the Roslindale Film Society (RFS) is celebrating with a screening of The Holdovers (2023, dir. Alexander Payne). This movie was filmed locally, and is nominated for 5 Academy Awards.

Doors open at 6:15 pm, and that's when the "movie lobby" is open - you can meet other film aficiandos, and order a beer, wine, and candy. The RFS will discuss the film prior to the screening, and hand out one bag of free popcorn to all attendees.

The film starts at 7:00 pm. Runtime is 2h 13m. Rated R for language, some drug use and brief sexual material.

Tickets are $10 on eventbrite, and $12 at the door.
