A pop-up event supporting Community Kitchens' 2024 hunger and homelessness street meal program in Oakland.

Community Kitchens invites you to join us in welcoming French master chef David Campigotto to Oakland for three nights of food, wine and music. Chef David is the eponymous chef-owner of Chez David restaurant in Castelnaudary, France, where customers flock nightly to sample his traditionally prepared CASSOULET. Chef David is visiting Chicago and Oakland this winter where he will present his signature dish as part of a four-course dinner with wine pairings prepared with the assistance of guest chefs Chris Pastena (Calavera, Chop Bar), Nigel Jones (Kingston11, Calabash), Kendall Davis (Luka's) and others. Dinner will be preceded each night by a happy hour beginning at 5:30 with aperetifs, music and small bites.

Community Kitchens was founded in 2020 by Richard Mitchell and Maria Alderete of Luka's Taproom to help feed those who struggle to feed themselves. Proceeds from this event will fund Community Kitchens’ hunger and homelessness street meal program for 2024. Community Kitchens' street meals provide security and dignity for thousands of Oaklanders facing hunger and homelessness every year.

Three nights, December 1st-3rd, at Kingston11 (2270 Telegraph, Oakland)

Happy Hour: 5:30, Dinner: 7:00
