Local Event Premier Host
Latin for ‘location’, Locus sources fruit from cooler climate vineyards in the Yakima Valley and Naches Heights AVAs of Washington State to produce unique, handcrafted wines that best showcase where they were sourced. Our Old World-like approach to our favorite varietals – Syrah, Cinsault, Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc – produces wines with higher acidity and less oak that are approachable and destined for food pairing.
Locus Wine Academy presents a post-harvest grape and wine tasting and food pairing event with our winemaker Rich Burton on Thursday, October 21st at 6PM. He will bring actual grapes from the harvest; you will taste them side by side with wines made from those grapes (well, from their ancestors from the same vineyards).
This is an opportunity to relate the fruit to the beverage, in a way you may have not been able to before. Or never gave it a thought, perhaps.
Of course, Rich will probably turn this into a game or competition and yeah, Ton will try to upstage the whole thing with some food to keep it a very Locus experience.
$30 per person (plus taxes). Your wine club discount applies at checkout. Limited to 20 seats.
P.S. OpenTable reservations is not the appropriate way to reserve a seat for this event. Seats must be secured by payment ahead of time.
