Gather around the table on our beautiful outdoor patio for a four-course Mexican tasting menu curated by Gracias Madre Executive Chef Diana Briscoe featuring house-made plant-based meats from LA-based restaurant Maciel's Plant-Based Butcher Shop! Together, we have created a menu that combines the best of both worlds, featuring a variety of flavorful and satisfying dishes.

About Maciel’s Plant-Based Butcher ShopRecently named one of L.A's Top Ten New Restaurants by Los Angeles Magazine, Maciel’s Plant-Based Butcher & Deli opened its doors in July 2022 with a focus on healthy, house-made plant-based meats and cheeses. The meats are made from legumes like chickpeas and cannellini beans, as well as beets and other vegetables, and offer a local alternative to the highly-processed vegan proteins found in most grocery stores. On the deli side, Maciel’s sandwiches utilize its flavor-rich meats and cheeses to create true-to-form classics like “The Reuben” and “The Italian”, as well as unique creations like “The Flores” (pulled ‘pork’ in Mexican adobo rib sauce) and the “French Philly” (L.A. Times food critic’s top new sandwiches). The shop’s owner, Maciel Bañales Luna, continues to create new plant-based meats that are high in quality and rich in protein and other nutrients. And as the shop continues to grow and expand in exciting ways, Maciel’s will hold true to its values. There will always be a focus on environmental issues, animal welfare, and advancing the knowledge and health benefits of a plant-based diet.
