Cost: $100.00
Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur, in association with Book Passage bookstore, will host a dinner on Thursday, September 20, 2018, with author Cara Black, whose latest work is Murder on the Left Bank. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be priced at $100 per person/$160 per couple, which includes the meal, wine, tax, gratuity and a signed copy of the book. Advance reservations are required and can be made via https://www.bookpassage.com/event/cooks-books-cara-black-murder-left-bank-left-bank-restaurant
The evening kicks off with a book signing followed by a French-inspired meal designed by the restaurant's Chief Culinary Officer, Roland Passot, plus a discussion with Ms. Black, who is the author of eighteen books in the New York Times bestselling Aimée Leduc series. She has received multiple nominations for the Anthony and Macavity Awards, and her work has been translated into German, Norwegian, Japanese, French, Spanish, Italian and Hebrew.
Her latest, a 288-page hardcover publication, has all of Black’s trademark ingredients, including suspenseful plotting, sharp dialogue, and the colorful sights and smells of Paris, including its cafes.
Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur is located at 507 Magnolia Avenue at Ward Street. Free parking is readily available on the street and in a municipal lot across from the restaurant. Visit Left Bank on the web at www.leftbank.com.
