2019 Peake Ranch Chardonnay Santa Barbara County

95 Rating by Jeb Dunnuck

The appellation 2019 Chardonnay Santa Barbara County comes from the Sierra Madre and Peake Ranch vineyards. Light golden, with a rocking nose of buttered citrus, tangerine, honeysuckle, flower oil, and spice, it’s medium-bodied and has a bright, vibrant spine of acidity, terrific balance, and a great finish. It’s one stunning entry level wine!

2020 Peake Ranch Chardonnay Sierra Madre Vineyard

96 Rating by Jeb Dunnuck

Peach, honeyed pineapple, toasted spices and some brioche all emerge from the 2020 Chardonnay Sierra Madre Vineyard, another incredibly textured, opulent, yet balanced and seamless Chardonnay from this team. It brings plenty of texture, yet at the same time remains light on its feet, pure, and seamless. Count me impressed. Aged in 38% new French oak, drink it any time over the coming 5-7 years or more.

2021 Clarice Wine Company Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands

93-95 Rating by Jeb Dunnuck

The 2021 Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands is a mix of the single vineyards and normally sees less new oak than the single vineyards. Bright berry fruits (cranberries, strawberries), wildflowers, sappy herbs, and assorted pretty, floral, peppery nuances all define the nose, and it is medium-bodied on the palate, with a wonderfully pure, seamless mouthfeel, plenty of structure, and a great finish. Coming mostly from Rosella’s Vineyard (there’s also some Garys’ Vineyard in here) and only 25% destemmed, it spent 10 months in just over 60% new French oak.

2021 Clarice Wine Company Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard

93-95 Rating by Jeb Dunnuck

The 2021 Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard is slightly darker and more subtle, with red plum, peppery herbs, savory flower, violet, and iron-like nuances in its medium to full-bodied, concentrated, yet structured personality. It’s complex, balanced, and a seriously good Pinot Noir in the making. As with all these releases from Adam Lee, it saw lots of stem inclusion and 10 months in mostly new oak.

2021 Clarice Wine Company Pinot Noir Garys’ Vineyard

94-96 Rating by Jeb Dunnuck

Slightly deeper aromatically, with darker cherry, violet, flower, and sandalwood notes, the 2021 Pinot Noir Garys’ Vineyard hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, building tannins, beautiful mid-palate depth, and a great finish. It’s another rock star of a Pinot Noir from this estate I’d be thrilled to drink. This saw 75% whole clusters and will spend 10 months in two-thirds new French oak. There will be just 225 cases produced.

2021 Beau Marchais Pinot Noir Soberanes Vineyard Sud

93-95 Rating by Jeb Dunnuck

The 2021 Pinot Noir Soberanes Vineyard Sud reveals a ruby, translucent hue to go with a spicy, savory nose of red and black fruits, iron, baking spices, and leafy herbs. Rich, medium to full-bodied, and structured, with good concentration on the palate, it will drink nicely right out of the gate yet also evolve for a decade.

2021 Beau Marchais Pinot Noir Soberanes Vineyard Nord

92-94 Rating by Jeb Dunnuck

The 2021 Pinot Noir Soberanes Vineyard Nord is more perfumed, with exotic red fruits, sweet strawberries, blueberries, violets, white pepper, and Christmas spice-like notes all soaring from the glass. Beautiful on the palate as well, it’s medium-bodied, has supple tannins, terrific purity, and a great finish.

2021 Beau Marchais Pinot Noir Clos Pepe Vineyard

94-96+ Rating by Jeb Dunnuck

Wild strawberries, kirsch, flowers, exotic spice, and some sage-like notes all emerge from the 2021 Pinot Noir Clos Pepe Vineyard, a deep, rich, incredibly layered, and textured Pinot Noir offering velvety tannins and a monster of a finish. This is a pure, hedonistic bomb of a Pinot Noir in the making. There will only be a single Pinot Noir from this vineyard this year.

Delicious lite bites will be served.

Start time is 6pm.

All these wines will be available to special order.
