You will develop knowledge of distilled fine spirit terms and concepts, historical overview, production techniques, technical and descriptive evaluation, or bolster your basic knowledge of the fine spirits covered.
Seminar Overview:
-Taste 35+ fine spirits, including:
Brandy
Scotch Whisky & Irish Whiskey,
Bourbon and American Whiskies
Traditional and Contemporary Vodkas, and
Tequila-Mezcal and Sotol.
-Receive 100 pages of educational material designed specifically for this seminar
-Earn a diploma, IWSG membership card, and IWSG membership pin
-Meet other fine spirits enthusiasts & professionals.
-Presented by Guild Certified Senior Wine & Spirits Instructor; Guild Master Candidate, Certified Executive Bourbon Steward, Single Malt Whisky Diplomate by Edinburgh Whisky Academy; and a Master of Agave Spirits by the Agave Spirits Institute.
Depending on your background and professional needs,
we offer the option of earning a Fine Spirits Sommelier Award (for the professional) or a Fine Spirits Connoisseur Award (for the enthusiast) upon examination.
