Please join us at L’Auberge Chez François Thursday, February 15th, as romantic sparks fly and hearts warm to the ambiance, cuisine and wine at our Valentine’s Champagne Tasting and Wine Dinner. Is there a more exciting sound than the POP of a cork and the whispered rush of foam that follows it?
You will be greeted with a fine Crémant de Bourgogne by Henri Champliau before sitting down to a tasting of three top-notch champagnes by famous producers Louis Roederer, Taittinger, and Laurent-Perrier. An extravagant dinner will follow, showcasing the magic of Chef Jacques and his team, to carry you away to another realm.
With the repast we will be pouring wonderful and original sparklers from Mélanie Pfister of Alsace and Louis Barruol of the Rhône, while our head sommelier, Alex Bardsley, will be on hand to answer any questions—how to safely saber a bottle of champagne, for example—and demonstrate the best way to open a bottle of bubbles. Come share our passion for wine, cuisine and romance!
