Event Focuses on Production Updates for Commercial Wine Grape Growers

This education event offered by Henderson & Buncombe County Extension will highlight various areas of viticulture including: Biltmore Vineyard History, USDA-TAP Program, Sustainable Practices for Wine Grape Growing, Major Diseases to Manage in the SE, Pruning Demos and more. Lunch included with Registration.

2:20-3:15 Wine Tasting and Group Discussion: Promising Varietals for the Mountain Region(Inside Vineyard Office)-Sharon Fenchak & Dr. Mark Hoffmann

This meeting has been approved for 2 hours of pesticide credits in the following categories (D, N, O, and X). Please bring your pesticide license with you to the meeting to receive credit.

*If you are attending the Hands-on Pruning Demo please come dressed for outdoor weather conditions and bring your own pruning tools.
