The French Wine Scholar Study and Certification program provides current, accurate and in-depth information on the wines and wine regions of France. The program covers French wine law, grape varieties, viticulture, winemaking and all of the French wine regions. Developed and administrated by the Wine Scholar Guild with the support of the French Ministry of Agriculture, this specialization program is designed for wine professionals or serious wine hobbyists.

What's included:
Access to online learning modules, webinars, maps and quizzes for 1 year
18 hours of classroom instruction by Wine Scholar Guild approved instructors
In class tastings of 30 wines from all of the major French wine regions
Optional certification exam of 100 multiple choice questions
Upon successfully passing the exam, students will receive a certificate, lapel pin and may use the “FWS” post-nominal
