Stop by the store this Friday for the best free wine tasting in Asheville!  We're pouring some fun French wines, and you're going to love them.  Guaranteed!  Just drop by any time between 4-7pm -- we've got plenty of free parking.

We're going off the beaten path today -- there will be no Bordeaux, no Burgundy, and no Champagne at this tasting.  Instead, we're digging deeper into some France's lesser known regions and wines.  Ever tried any whites from Gascogne?  They're awesome and they're super-affordable.  How about reds from Isle Saint Pierre, an island in the middle of the Rhone River?  Here's your chance.  Expand your horizons, taste some new wines, stock up on some extreme values, and save big every Friday at Table Wine.  And stop back by tomorrow from 2-5pm as we pour an all-star lineup of new California wines -- trust me, don't miss it!

All of the featured tasting wines are being offered at 20% off by the bottle!  To take advantage of the savings, all sales must be tendered by the end of the tasting.

1. 2017 Mont Gravet Cotes de Gascogne Blanc (Gascogne, France) - Gascogny is in the southwestern part of France, near the city of Toulouse.  Long recognized as one of France's top value zones, I think you'll understand after tasting this wine.  100% Colombard fermented in stainless steel, it is reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc with its bright, crisp, and clean personality.
Special Tasting Price: $7.99/bottle

2. 2016 Domaine Isle Saint-Pierre Blanc (Rhone Valley, France) – Isle Saint-Pierre is an island in the middle of the Rhone river.  The wines produced here are unique (they don't contain any of the classic Rhone grapes), yet delicious.  This blend of tank-fermented Chardonnay, Muscat, and Sauvignon Blanc is dry and crisp, with floral-scented apple and citrus fruit.
Special Tasting Price: $7.99/bottle

3. 2016 Domaine Isle Saint-Pierre Rouge (Rhone Valley, France) - Though it comes from the Southern Rhone valley, it doesn't contain any of the classic Rhone varietals.  Instead, it's a blend of Merlot, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, Carmenere, and Arinarona.  Crazy huh?  The wine, however, is not crazy.  It's delicious, with notes of peppery spice and dark fruit.
Special Tasting Price: $7.99/bottle
