As one of the region's premier fundraising events, Forks & Corks typically has less than 40 seats available when the public sale begins. Be sure to mark your calendar for Friday, April 12th @ 9 AM to ensure your place.
Forks and Corks typically sells out within a few days after opening to the public. However, schedules can and do change for people! You are strongly encouraged to join our waitlist at https://festfoundation.regfox.com/fc24wait. If seats become available, we'll notify you right away.
Join us for an evening of delicious food and wine pairings, silent and live auctions, and the 2024 Oktoberfest USA button reveal. Forks & Corks is open to all individuals and businesses with a passion for supporting and funding scholarship opportunities for area high school students.
Hosted at the iconic Cargill Room and catered by The Waterfront Restaurant, you'll delight in a five-course small plate culinary experience paired with chef-selected wines. For 2024, our Chef has selected the following offerings:

The Gemütlichkeit Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and a charitable arm of La Crosse Festivals, Inc. The Foundation provides scholarship opportunities for local high school students through a variety of fundraising events. Forks & Corks is our primary fundraising event.
The Foundation currently awards $14,000 in scholarships each year, including a $1000 scholarship to thirteen area high schools as well as a $1000 scholarship to the yearly winner of the Miss La Crosse Oktoberfest Scholarship Program. Area high schools currently served are Aquinas, Bangor, De Soto, Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau, Holmen, La Crescent, La Crosse Central, La Crosse Logan, Melrose-Mindoro, Onalaska, Onalaska Luther, West Salem, and Westby.
