Modern Renaissance Prince, Lorenzo de' Medici, is hosting a guided Food & Art History Dinner experience in Vita Bella Wine Bar on April 2, 2024!This is a culinary journey that takes place back in time to when modern day French and Italian cuisine had their origins.

Lorenzo de' Medici - a modern renaissance prince - will take you on a tour of the most famous Italian and French cuisine! The audience will learn the true back story of who invented the Margherita pizza, the tiramisu original recipe and why the famous ravioli was invented by the de' Medici family.

Chef Joel Ott, the Executive Chef at Ahern Luxury Boutique Hotel, has crafted an exceptional dinner menu to complement Lorenzo's backstory about the history of Food & Art in the renaissance period.

This is not just a dinner, but also an educational experience! Together we will explore and analyze each dish and uncover their distinctive characteristics.

Tomato Bruschetta - Toasted bread topped with marinated tomato and balsamic vinegar, shaved parmigiano reggiano

1st Course:
Leonardo Da Vinci Salad – baby greens, shaved fennel and nasturtium flower, vinaigrette with fresh herbs and olive oil, lemon and tangerine

2nd Course:
7-Layer Lasagna Verde – spinach and basil infused pasta sheets, béchamel, Italian cheeses, marinara and Pesto Genovese

3rd Course:
Zuppa di Cipolle – sweet caramelized onion, crostini and melted gruyere

4th Course:
Alfredo Vermicelli - served with butter and aged parmigiano reggiano

5th Course:
Polpette - All beef meatballs baked with ricotta cheese and marinara sauce
