Please join us Thursday, September 30th any time between 5PM and 8PM when we welcome Rupert Billins, Southwest Regional Manager from Dalla Terra, to our wine bar for a special flight of Italian wines!
Founded in 1990 by Brian Larky, Dalla Terra Winery Direct is a national agent and direct importer of a small and select group of leading, family-owned wineries in Italy. Dalla Terra means “from the earth” in Italian, and the estates they represent are terroir-driven icons not only of each province or region, but of Italy as a whole. Italian-focused from the very beginning, Dalla Terra pioneered a unique approach to bringing wines from Italy to the U.S. market.
Rupert Billins has been in the wine industry for twenty-five years, with nearly ten years’ experience with Dalla Terra. Born and raised in England, Rupert moved to the United States after completing a BA in Theatre Arts at Leeds University. Rupert has held various roles in the wine industry, including as an import specialist at distributors Wine Warehouse and Southern Wine and Spirits. A Certified Wine Educator, Rupert has travelled to all the wine regions of the world, but will always avow the supremacy of Italian food, wine and culture.
The featured flight wines will be served as two-ounce pours and 5-ounce glasses.
The cost of the two-ounce flight will be $28 per person or $26 for Wine Club Members,
