Featured Wines: Rieslings--They are not all Sweet!

This time, I have decided to challenge the stereotype that Rieslings are sweet. While many are somewhat sweet, they are not syrupy sweet and can be fairly sophisticated. In many cases, sweetness is tempered with acidity to give the wine food balance. 

With this offering we will showcase three different styles from one producer. The Kabinett, with a touch of sweetness, the QBA that is somewhat sweeter with subtle acidity (great with Indian or Thai food) and finally a Spatlese which has more pronounced sweetness but is nicely balanced with crisp acidity. 

My challenge to you is to stop in and try a one ounce pour of at least one of these great wines and see if they are what you had expected or actually not so bad!

Stop in any time between noon and 6, Tuesday through Saturday, to enjoy a pour from our Wine Stations or by the bottle.  We have spacious seating indoors or on our patio (weather permitting); you are welcome to bring in your own food to round out your experience. Enjoy these wines at great prices--either at our store or in your own home.
