Join us for an evening of delicious local food and beverages. Enjoy the beauty of autumn colors, and the great company of our community!

The Pendleton County Farmers Market invites you to join us, and visiting chef Matt Welsch, for an outdoor dinner event at the beautiful Loafer’s Glory event venue featuring a selection of foods and beverages grown, made, and raised right here in Pendleton County and throughout the West Virginia Potomac Highlands. Ticket sales will support the farmers market’s ongoing growth as a valuable community gathering place and catalyst for encouraging visitors and locals alike to eat local and buy local.

TICKETS

Regular tickets to the dinner are all inclusive. Wine, beer and cider options, as well as non-alcoholic beverages will be available and included in the price of your ticket for guests over 21.

This event will have limited ticket availability due to the seating capacity of the venue - so get yours now!

If you’re just over the moon about this event, want to make it even more memorable, and have a greater positive financial impact - our VIP Ticket option gets you some extra one-on-one time with the chef, as well as a memorable collection of local craft goods to take home with you after the dinner concludes.

Additional donations can be made to the market through the additional donation ticket option. If you’d love to see us do more, or if you can’t make it and just want to give a little something to support the market, add this to your cart and insert the additional amount you wish to give. Every dollar helps, and we are grateful to all who want to see the market grown and flourish!

MORE DETAILS

We are beyond grateful to all of the support we have had in putting together this evening of fun and community. But even more, we're so happy to put our energy into creating an opportunity for members of our community to spend time together, sharing a meal that is all about right here where we live.

There really isn't a substitute for what happens when you sit around a table passing plates, talking, nibbling and sipping. We hope you agree, and that you'll take an evening to join us in supporting our farmers and our market while also passing plates and enjoying time together. Putting the food made by our own community in the spotlight for the evening makes it even better!

Our gracious venue owners (Jeff and Teresa Munn) have spent the past several years hard at work on their historic property to make it a place for gathering, as well as a beautifully preserved historic landmark farmstead. The historic Pittsenbarger farmstead is just a short walk down the hill from the place where we will be dining and a self guided tour is available for any who are interested. Inspired by the season and by the history of the property, the entire weekend will be a celebration of Appalachian German heritage. In addition to incorporating german heritage foods and recipes into the dinner, there will be a community Oktoberfest celebration and community hike at the property on Sunday the day after the dinner that will be free and open to all. That means that if you go home feeling stuffed after joining us for dinner, you can come right back the next day to get moving!
