Birotes Salados
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo by learning to bake these unique sourdough rolls from Guadalajara, alongside crafting tortas ahogadas, the sandwiches of carnitas made on these robust rolls and the spicy tomato sauce they are “drowned” in.
We will make the rolls, discuss the special sourdough starter they are made with, and how they are still baked in brick ovens in Mexico. Then we will build sandwiches and sit down together to enjoy them.
Beer, wine, and margaritas will also be included in the price of the class.
