60 Restaurants Participating with Special Menus and Pairings
Long Beach restaurants are gearing up for the 6th annual Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant & Cocktail Week, the city’s premier dining event now expanded to two weeks – April 1-15. Some 60 casual-to-fine dining restaurants are participating with a range of menus and price points to please every palate and budget, from food and wine pairings and shared menus for two to beer flights and creative cocktails with small plates.
Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant & Cocktail Week will feature some exclusive dishes as well as a signature cocktail, The Voyage, available at select locations. Many restaurants will be offering “imaginary” items, including The Crooked Duck with its Imaginary Duck Soup, Buono’s Pizzeria featuring Imaginary Breadsticks and Heritage Sandwich Shop with its Imaginary Pickles. All Imaginary menu items are $3 each and, while they are just that—imaginary--they’re extremely satisfying as 100% of the proceeds benefit Restaurants Care which provides financial assistance to California restaurant workers in need.
Dog lovers can dine with their four-legged friends at an array of restaurants or enjoy a Dine, Duffy and Doggie voyage with London Boat Rentals where guests navigate their own canopy-covered electric boat. Call ahead to one of the 60 restaurants, order take-out and cocktails, and enjoy while cruising through the canals of Naples Island.
Dine Out Long Beach doesn't require any tickets or passes. Guests simply can peruse the special, prix-fixe menus at dineoutlongbeach.com and decide where they'd like to dine by selecting a neighborhood, price point or cuisine. Restaurants will also have their regular menus available, too.
