Georges and Daniel Daou started Daou winery in 1998 after selling their medical networking systems company and buying land in Paso Robles. For years, Daniel had been making wine in his garage in rural San Diego, while reading every book he could get his hands on about winemaking. Daniel knew he was destined to be a winemaker, and to his family it was clear. When he approached his father, Joseph, with plans to grow wine in Paso Robles, his father replied without hesitation "Go and don't look back. Go full throttle."

And that he did. Daou is one of the most awarded and recognizable wineries in Paso, especially known for their first growth Cabernet Sauvignon. Our October dinner offers the chance to try not only the winery only 1740 and Unbound blends, but also the coveted Soul of a Lion and Patrimony cabernets.

Dinner is held Wednesday, October 12th at 6:30pm. Food pairing menu is still in development, and will be added to event notes when available.
