Join us for a DAOU Soul of a Lion 2018/2019 Vertical Dinner!


We are very excited to announce our newest pop-up location, which puts us back in La Mesa! For our October dinner at this location, we're thrilled to welcome back DAOU Vineyards and presenter, Roman Palumbo. We have a wonderful evening planned featuring some fantastic wines from this Paso Robles based favorite. The evening will feature 6 wine selections, each paired with a dinner course. As an extremely special treat, we will pour side by side selections of 2018 and 2019 Soul of a Lion, DAOU's flagship wine! DAOU has accumulated years of awards and praise while forging their own path in the higher elevations of Paso Robles. We'll be featuring a wonderful selection of wines, none of which are available at the winery. Each selection will showcase DAOU's excellence and dedication to the winemaking process. You won't want to miss this fantastic evening of wine, food and conversation.


Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course.
