D’Artagnan, the nation’s leading purveyor of organic, sustainable, and humanely-raised meats, is hosting its 4th Annual Cassoulet War on January 29th at Hotel Eventi benefiting Action Against Hunger! Carrying on the rich French tradition in which chefs and villagers compete for the best cassoulet, top chefs from across the U.S. will battle it out for cassoulet supremacy.
During the live culinary competition, notable chefs will cook up their unique interpretations of the iconic French dish hoping to win over the esteemed panel of judges - Andre Soltner (America’s first superstar chef), Sara Moulton (Chef, TV Personality), JL Dumonet (Master Chef), Anne-Claire Legendre (Consul of France), Laurent Tourondel (L’Amico, The Vine) - and attendees to take home the award for Audience Favorite Cassoulet, Best Authentic Cassoulet or Best Creative Cassoulet.
Proceeds will benefit Action Against Hunger, a global humanitarian organization that takes decisive action against the causes and effects of hunger. Attendees will also have a chance to win 1 round trip airfare ticket to France!
The battle begins at 7:00 PM and continues until only one chef is left standing at 9:30 PM. Bring your appetite!
