In the year that it has been open, Crimson Lane has made major waves in the Virginia wine community. Located in Linden, Virginia, owner Tom Herrity recognized his dreams by selecting the perfect vineyard location at a higher elevation with loads of sandstone and limestone soils to produce the best grapes Virginia has to offer. He's put these grapes in the immensely capable hands of winemaker Dominick Fioresi. Grandson of a winemaker, Dominick has been experimenting with winemaking since he was 14 years old! In his adult wine career, he has worked under Jim Law at Linden Vineyards, as the vineyard manager at Delaplane Vineyards, and winemaker at Ingleside Plantation and Vineyard. These experiences have allowed him to truly master what it takes to make world-renowned wines in the Northern Virginia wine region.

With an incredible team in the vineyard and tasting room, Crimson Lane has been able to achieve the goals they set out to accomplish - Plant grapes in diversified soil; produce outstanding wines from estate vineyards; and plan for a tasting room that welcomes family, friends, and strangers who become both.

We are incredibly honored to host the Crimson Lane team at Vermilion for a four-course dinner paired with their truly impeccable Virginia wines. These wines beside the culinary craft of Chef Tony Chittum, featuring seasonal ingredients sourced from Mid-Atlantic purveyors, will be a meal that cannot be missed!
