The Woman's Club of Evanston has been making audiences laugh for a good cause for 70 + years with its annual benefit show. Members of the Woman's Club of Evanston write, direct, choreograph, and perform an entertaining variety show of parodies of show tunes and popular songs that take on a variety of current topics.

The 2024 Revue will benefit Northlight Theatre’s Education & Community Engagement programs. Northlight's in-school residencies include Build a Play (grades k-5) and Speak Up Theatre for Social Change (grades 6-12). Northlight's Community Engagement programs extend to a number of social service organizations including Youth Job Center, Y.O.U., YWCA Evanston/North Shore, Levy Senior Center, Family Focus, Evanston Scholars and more! The Revue will also benefit Northlight's free ticket program, Arts for Everyone, which works to break down the barriers to accessing theatre starting with the price of a ticket.

Northlight’s Education & Community Engagement programs help prepare students for success in school, work and life by fostering creative thinking, strengthening problem-solving skills, building collaboration and communications skills, and increasing cross-cultural understanding. Northlight Theatre’s arts education programs are in over 40 schools located in Evanston and the surrounding communities and directly benefit nearly 4,000 students. More than 75% of the young participants are low or low-moderate income and nearly 85% identify as Black, Indigenous and people of color.

The Woman’s Club of Evanston has proudly supported organizations that make a difference in our community since 1889.
