An excellent set of wines for steamy summer weather on the tasting table this weekend!
From Austria, Christina Netzl’s cheerful and refreshing rosé will cool you off and her bold, rich Edles Tal red will pair perfectly with steaks coming off the grill. Louis Michel Petit Chablis makes for a zippy sipping white and the 2020 Village Chablis is ready to shine with all kinds of shellfish. And a second Charles Clement Champagne returns after a multi-month absence with a very celebratory sale price through the end of the weekend only.

Netzl Rosé of Zweigelt Rosanna 2021 – Christina Netzl has captured the essence of summer in this vibrant bottle of pink Zweigelt that is dangerously delicious to sip solo and has the depth and energy to match nicely with all kinds of summer foods.
Dom Louis Michel Petit Chablis 2020 – Mainly from vineyards in the hills above the 1er Crus, this is a fruitier, more exuberant, take on Chablis with just enough salty minerality to stay refreshing and delicious.
Dom Louis Michel Chablis 2020 – The best vintage in years for this classic example of no-oak, no-malo, no-manipulation expression of pure Chardonnay grown on chalky limestone soil. Vibrant and delicious.
Netzl Gottlesbrunn Edles Tal 2019 – Even better than the 93 point trio of 2015, 2016 and 2017 vintages, this has bold dark red fruit, a seductive layer of rich chocolate, and the firm structure you want with steak or lamb off the grill. Really impressive stuff.
