Arterra’s ‘Cellar Immersion Experience’ is an in-depth and comprehensive exploration of technique & philosophy with winemaker Jason Murray.
Jason will walk you through the entire production process - introducing the space, equipment, process flows, and decision making throughout the evolution of Arterra’s wines in the cellar.
This is an opportunity to experience first hand what a winemaker is experiencing in the cellar: notably from the approach of producing 'True Terroir' wines, clean wines, and natural wines.
Current vintages in the cellar will be tasted through as ‘futures samples’: demonstrating successes and challenges; differences of sites and/or clones; the influence of techniques; and especially the role that perception & adaptation play in the process.
The experience is limited to 10 people, will last approximately 2 hours, and will be accompanied by light fare. Much of the experience will be moving about the cellar & standing, with seating available if needed. Enjoy some tapas style refreshments while you taste!
