In December of 2019 the Capoeira Arts Foundation found a way to purchase the building at 1901 San Pablo Avenue Berkeley to secure a space of belonging for our community. The Casa De Cultura is for many, a home away from home, a beloved and internationally known destination for African Brazilian manifestations of art, dance, and culture.

Join us to celebrate with a feijoada dinner (vegetarian option also available), a show featuring special guests including Mestre Acordeon, and the "Por Do Sol" musicians, and a silent auction. Dinner includes non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a cash bar.
