TONIGHT WE FLY BLIND
We welcome you to another in our educational series. The central focus of the evening will be to exercise our minds on the basic elements of tasting and identification of what’s in our glass. You will be led through a tutored tasting format that will help you to discover and recognize the elements that constitute a wine’s sense of place. We will constrain our variables to the classic Napa & Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, blends of such (single blind). To be revealed: Appellation, Chateau/Estate, Vintage. We will taste between 2-4 wines; these will be old & rare vintages, some over 30 years old.
This first in a series will prepare you for upcoming events being planned.
IMPORTANT: There will be no wrong answers. Only a fun evening of discovery and discussion. All opinions, reasonings, suppositions will be welcomed !
This Event has a minimum sign up requirement in order to be held: 6 guests minimum
Limit: 10 guests. Select wines at this event may be available to purchase.
