Another incredible wine tasting with our Sommelier, Olivier Flosse. Take a tour with us through the famed regions of Bordeaux in France.

France produces some of the world's best wines. Many renowned growing regions, including Burgundy, Rhone, Loire, and Champagne, are completely dedicated to terroir and tradition. The grapes planted in these regions are typically restricted to a few traditional varietals.

This seminar will feature four wines from France's most iconic and renowned wine region, Bordeaux. The colors, aromas, and tastes of these wines have shaped and influenced everything we appreciate about wine. Whether you’re a connoisseur of great wine, or simply looking for the best bottle to serve with dinner or give as a gift, join us to expand your knowledge and palate to a range of tastes and traditions unmatched anywhere else in the world.

In every glass of French wine is a world of pure discovery.

Cost: $80.00 per person (includes $25 gift card *)

Light appetizers accompany this event.

All reservations can be made on Eventbrite or email us at: Olivier@WestchesterWine.com

* Gift card use applies only to the featured products of the event tasting.

Chateau Doisy-Daene - Grand Vin Sec Bordeaux Blanc 2020

Pretty high on the Sauvignon Blanc aromatics, but on the palate this is deftly handled, well paced with a raspy slate texture. Not hugely concentrated but this is pretty hard to argue with.

Chateau Plantey - Pauillac 2019

Dark and intense with aromas of red fruits, blackberries and spicy notes. Full-bodied, with wonderfully integrated tannins and a long finish. A classic Pauillac with a wonderful terroir character.

Chateau Brane Cantenac - Baron de Brane Margaux 2016

A very pure and charming bouquet with brambly red fruit, cedar and pencil shavings,The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannin on the entry, the fruit a little darker than the nose suggests, segueing into a well-defined second half with brown spices and hints of leather.

Chateau Belregard-Figeac - Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2017

This wine is marked by a vibrant ruby/garnet color married to a richly spicy nose with hints of tobacco and coffee in the background; the flavors are dominated by red currant, cassis, and raspberry; the texture is silky and the wine is smooth and generous on the palate
