This class will take place at Bloomingdales Valley Fair and will be an educational lecture and demo about the history, ingredients, and indulgence of making tiramisù from scratch. Attendees will hear from our head pastry chef and watch them as they show how to make prep and build tiramisu from start to finish. At the conclusion, enjoy a small bite of fresh tiramisù and a glass of Italian wine.

Discover how to create this classic Italian delight step by step. Tiramisù, the oh so rich and decadent Italian indulgence is the perfect balance of coffee and sweetness. Although it is an after-dinner treat, it is quite the “pick me up”, as its translation would state. The elegant Italian dessert is traditionally made with ladyfingers dipped in espresso, layered with a rich creamy mixture, and finished with a bountiful sprinkling of cocoa powder. Culinary legend has it that tiramisù was invented in Treviso, a small city in the romantic region of Veneto, in which Venetian lovers would tiramisu thinking it would give them more energy. Today, the classic dolce is made across Italy in a variety of ways. In this class guests will:
