Cost: $15, light fare of cheese and bread
Presented by Mary Hoff of Treasury Wine Estates
Since the 1976 Judgement of Paris, a blind tasting contest where a French judge awarded a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon “Best in Class,” (Sacré Bleu!) Napa Valley has reigned supreme where Cabs are concerned. We’ll be tasting 6 of Napa’s finest at this tasting; these wineries are all extraordinary and they’re producing extraordinary wines! Beaulieu Vineyards and Beringer Vineyards are 142 and 118 years old respectively , and their founders had extraordinary passions for craftsmanship that shaped winemaking in America. Stags’ Leap Winery and Provenance Vineyards, just 42 and 19 years young respectively, are producing some amazing highly-rated and respected Cabs as well! Join us to experience them, hear about their specific growing appellations in Napa Valley, and learn why this little area of California produces such amazing Cabernet Sauvignon! Plain and simple...it’s bottled poetry!
We will be tasting:
Light fare of cheese and bread to taste alongside. Please reserve your spot at www.thesavvycellars.com/events/
