Bastille Day Celebration at Left Bank Brasserie Larkspur

At Left Bank Brasserie in Larkspur on Thursday, July 14 (also July 15 through July 17), the spirit of Bastille Day will be most apparent with rustic, authentic French additions to the restaurant's lunch, dinner and beverage menus, plus festive blue, blanc and rouge decorations, live music (12:00 to 8:00 p.m.), a stilt walker, a mime, a magician, and staff ensembles and costumes. The special Plats de la Révolution menu items will be an Heirloom Tomato Salad/$18.00, with melon, French feta and Banyul’s vinaigrette; Chicken Fricassee/$32.00, with confit chicken leg and summer vegetable ratatouille; Steak au Poivre/$45.00, bavette steak with French potato salad and Sausalito cress; and a Clafoutis/$9.00 with stone fruit and honey crème fraîche. A celebratory Champagne Flight of three 2 oz. pours for $25.00 will include Pierre Sparr, Brut Rosé, Crémant d'Alsace, Alsace, FRA; Marcel Cabelier, Brut Rosé, "Jura," Crémant du Jura, "Jura," FRA; and Cheurlin Thomas, Brut, "Speciale," Champagne, FRA. All regular menu items will also be served and prices exclude tax and gratuity.
