Join us in New York City at this year's edition of Barolo & Barbaresco World Opening (BBWO) on March 20th, 2024 at Center 415 and taste Barolo & Barbaresco wines from 200 producers.

Hosted by The Consorzio di Tutela Barolo Barbaresco Alba Langhe e Dogliani, Barolo & Barbaresco World Opening - BBWO - is a unique occasion to learn more about the two iconic red wines of the UNESCO World Heritage Site listed Langhe region, as well as the most distinctive and noble grape variety of this region, Nebbiolo.

Prepare to explore some of the most sought after wines in the world! While sipping and savoring acclaimed Barolo DOCG and Barbaresco DOCG selections, you’ll be able to meet 200 producers who are ready to share their stories and passion.

Crafted from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, these unique wines reflect the rich history of Piedmont throughout the entire production process. Indulge in the unique terroirs of these exceptional rarities, and immerse yourself in Italian dreams with delectable gourmet treats from Eataly.

This year a portion of our proceeds will benefit, Food for Soul: Together, creating a sustainable inclusive future for all.

Food for Soul is a nonprofit organization founded by chef Massimo Bottura and Lara Gilmore empowering local communities to cultivate a more just sustainable food system by saving food from waste and reducing barriers to food security and livelihood. Through advocacy and educational initiatives, they give consumers tools to shift habits toward socially and environmentally responsible behaviors; while collaborating with nonprofits partners to open Refettorio projects, community spaces with social kitchens, that recover and transform surplus and imperfect foods into nourishing meals for those most vulnerable alongside training programs, cultural activities and educational events. Food for Soul and their Network of Partners represents 13 Refettorios across 9 countries with expansion efforts to open 6 new projects in the next 5 years. Since 2015, Food for Soul’s mission has inspired worldwide outcomes advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2, 12, 13 through allied partner UNEP while collectively saving +2100 tonnes of food from waste, serving 3.591 mil meals with hospitality alongside the helping hands of over 115K volunteers and guest chefs worldwide.
