About Bacchus Brothers
The Bacchus Brothers are Mark Clarin (Guitar and Vocals), Don Veca (Bass and Vocals), Ray Merrill (Drums and Vocals). Since 1999, they’ve been Livermore’s pre-eminent rock band, with an eclectic mix of influences that will get you up dancing.
SF Bay area natives, they came together in 1999 on the banks of the San Joaquin River to prepare for a week-long performance in Zurich Switzerland. Influenced by Jazz, Funk, Rhythm and Blues and Soul, they began writing, recording and performing ever since. You can find their music online at many streaming services. The first of their recordings titled “Funky Alien Booty” became a fan favorite almost immediately.
Followed by “Bacchus Philosophy” and “Edge of the World”, they are currently adding the finishing touches to their 4th album.
With Merrill living out of state, Bacchus Brothers called their Spring/Summer 2022 tour their “farewell tour,” and now re-unite infrequently to play shows and record. That means you shouldn’t miss this chance to miss them live! Whether you’ve been a diehard fan since the beginning, or haven’t yet seen a show, don’t miss this show. As proclaimed at the beginning of their first album, “check it out”.
