Join us at Wally’s Santa Monica for an unforgettable dinner featuring Bordeaux icon Château La Gaffelière, hosted by Brand Ambassador Francois Peltereau-Villeneuve. Wally’s Executive Chef Ryan Kluver has designed a special menu to pair with multiple vintages of this Right Bank superstar, including the 97-point 2015 vintage and 96-point 2005 vintage.
Château La Gaffelière is one of the oldest family-owned wineries in Saint-Émilion, on the right bank of Bordeaux. Located in a historic wine producing area growing predominantly Merlot grapes, the land has been owned for three centuries by the Malet-Roquefort family. The unique limestone and clay soils and exceptional hillside vineyards—combined with a mastery of the winemaking process—have made this Bordeaux winery an icon for wine enthusiasts.
Over the past 20 years, “La Gaff” has produced unparalleled wines that marry traditional finesse with a slightly more modern approach, giving the wines restrained richness and persistence. They’re known for their age-worthiness and incredible finesse.
