We are excited to start a new tradition here at the Herb Lyceum!
Come December our carriage house will be transformed into a winter wonderland ; a magical setting for a most unexpected holiday feast. The evening will begin outside with a warm beverage and snacks from a roaring fire. We will then conintue inside for a sampling of local and house made cheese and charcuterie. At last, we will lead our guests into the carriage house addorned with birch, pine and flickering candle light where they will enjoy a five course dinner inspired by New England holiday tradition (and a few suprises....)
Here at the Lyceum, we serve a prix fixe tasting menu without choices (except for the main ;) . We understand that’s not for everyone. We do try to provide alternative options for courses that may not appeal to all diners, but because the menu is limited, we aren’t able to offer a wide variety of choices. If you prefer to have more control over your dining experience, we are happy to suggest some of our favorite places to eat in the area.
Your ticket includes gratuity. Eventbrite fees and tax will be added at the time of purchase. As of August 1st, 2021 we have a liquor license, and will no longer be BYOB. We will have a small menu of available house beverages, including wine, beer and NA beverages available for purchase on premise to enjoy with your dinner. For this dinner there will also be an optional wine pairing available for pre-purchase.
Tickets sold are for one seating starting at 7pm on Fridays, and 6pm on Saturday and Sundays.
Due to the small, cozy nature of our carriage house, our dinner guests will be seated family style at long tables. Private tables during the colder months are not available.
If you are coming in a group and will not be able to purchase tickets together, please send along their names so we can seat you all together if possible.
If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org at least 48 hours ahead of time to allow us to prepare any accommodations/amendments to the menu. For our Winter Wonderland dinner we will be able to accomodate both vegetarian, pescetarian nut free and gluten free requests with advanced notice. (requests within 48 hours will not be able to be accomodated)
A s these events are planned and prepared for many days out , we require at least 48 hours notice on all cancellations. Tickets are transferrable to friends and family within that time period.
