A Tale of Two Wineries
Niner Wine Estates & Balletto Vineyards
Saturday, August 18th
Trapp Family Lodge Wine Cellar
John Balletto started farming in 1977 at the age of 17. Over the years he purchased other properties and expanded out of produce and into vineyards.
Richard Niner started farming with his father in West Virginia. After several successful business ventures he found himself in San Luis Obispo County where he was drawn back to farming and into wine making. Theirs is the first winery on the Central Coast to earn the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver Certification.
Brian Petrie from Bronco Wine will be here to represent both Wineries and answer any questions you may have about the wines.
Price is $20. Please call or see the front desk to place reservations. 802 253-5742. Doors open @ 4:00. I suggest you arrive no later than 5:00 to avoid feeling rushed. People come and go during the tasting which is an informal walk around format. We end at 6:00
