The top-ranked sommelier certification program available in the United States. The Core Program is accredited by the National Wine School and administered by the Wine School of Philadelphia. If you are looking to become a winemaker or sommelier, this program is foundational to those careers.

Top Online Wine Courses in the USA

SOMM ranked our virtual sommelier classes as the best in the nation. Programs are run by Keith Wallace (founder of the school) and Alana Zerbe, the Director of Wine Education. Every class consists of a live lecture and a second sommelier and a second sommelier instructor to run the ongoing chat.

Who Can Attend?

All wine lovers can attend. This program is designed for professionals, but typically half the students are attending simply to learn about wine.

Level Two & Level Three Combined

This program includes both certifications. Level One is not required to attend this program. By the end of the program, you will be able to taste better than most sommeliers. Your knowledge of the entire world of wine will have expanded to an extraordinary degree.

A Full Semester Online Wine Course

This program is an eight-week program. Classes are held Sundays from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm. April 11th to June 6th.
