Today we are featuring wines from wineries owned by women or made by women wine makers.
Elena Adell has been making wine for Campo Viejo since 1998. Nicole Hitchcock leads the winemaking team @ J Vineyards & Winery. Courtney Foley leads the Estate Vineyards and Winery team @ Chalk Hill Winery. Laure Colombo of Jean-Luc Columbo in the Rhone Valley is busy growing vines at higher altitudes. Jamie Benziger of Imagery Estate Winery was awarded Best Woman Winemaker of the Year by the International Women’s Wine Competition.
Sarah Isham of Farrell’s Distributing will join us to discuss the wines and the women involved in their production.
