Artisan wine. Micro-production. Natural wine.  What does this all mean?

This is a rare chance to spend time with a talented, young winemaker who is one of "the new wine mavericks, a group of enology grads who are upending expectations with micro-label, minimalist natural wines." We are excited and proud to host winemaker Meredith Bell, co-founder of Statera Cellars and EST Wines. Statera Cellars is unique in that it is the first winery in the Willamette Valley to focus entirely on Chardonnay, and EST Wines specializes in single-vineyard Pinot Noir. Meredith's focus on personally selected vineyard sites and extremely small batch wine projects bring forth a uniquely rare set of wines. Complex, distinct, and superbly balanced, her work results in some of the finest wines from Oregon.

We will spend the evening with Meredith, tasting wines and talking about the past, present, and future of winemaking. We will be showing some of the last bottles available of Meredith's favorite selections.

Your co-host Tom Hajduk's unique blend of storytelling, history, facts, and humor takes the conventional idea of wine tasting to a completely different level every second Saturday of the month in The Knife Room. Your ticket includes 5 tastes of wine.
