On Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14, The Terrace Room in Oakland will be serving from 5:00 to 9:30 PM a $68.00 four-course prix fixe menu with Beet and Carrot Soup with smoked trout and chive crème fraîche; Endive and Treviso Salad with hazelnut-chevre dressing; Shrimp and Scallop Ceviche with blood oranges, avocado, red Fresno chiles and tropical chips or Wild Mushrooms on Polenta with crispy shallots and aged balsamic; Braised Short Ribs with potato-parsnip purée, cipollini onions, Madeira sauce and fresh horseradish or Grilled Swordfish with asparagus, marble potatoes, beurre rouge and dry cured olives or Orecchiette and DeCiccio Broccoli with leeks and Fontina sauce; and Flourless Chocolate Decadence Cake with fresh raspberries and Chantilly cream or Blood Orange Gelato with biscotti or Tiramisu.
