One of the Midwest's premier wine festivals - there is something for everyone from the beginner to the connoisseur. Choices abound at the Grand Tastings - up to 700 wines from 200+ different wineries from around the world. Admission includes a wine tasting session, a keepsake Riedel wine glass, delicious food and complimentary coat check. See session times online for both Friday and Saturday.
In addition to the Grand Tastings, additional upgrades include choice of admission to an Education Session, or to the Collectors Tasting Room, in which guest can enjoy up to 7 tastes of high-end wines not found in the Grand Tastings.
Other events include a Winery Dinner Series on Thursday, March 12 at some of Cincinnati's finest dining establishments and a Charity Auction Luncheon at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza on Saturday March 14, which includes both a silent and live auction. This auction is a wine lover's dream and includes large format bottles, limited releases, vertical vintages, rare wines coaxed from local cellars, exquisite trips, dining opportunities at exclusive local homes and more.
The Cincinnati Interational Wine Festival is a 501c3 nonprofit organziation which donates proceeds to local charities with a focus on arts, education or health and human services. The Festival has been "Giving Back One Glass at a Time" since 1991, and total giving exceeds $6 million since inception.
