Wine After Work: Syrah around the world
Learn the ins and outs of the Syrah grape with certified sommelier and wine educator Shar Peterson!
This fun after work gathering will compare the styles of Syrah around the world, focusing on France, California, and Australia. We'll cover the good and the bad about Syrah, the rise of it in California in the 1990s, the reason it's called Shiraz in Australia, and the top producers and wine regions around the world for this noble grape.
Three outstanding Syrahs will be poured for your enjoyment during the lesson.
The class includes extensive handouts, maps, discussion, and some bites from The Vine Room's kitchen.
We hope you can join us for this new Wine After Work class!
