Local Event
Cost: Tickets are $20 and include a glass of champagne and “12 grapes” for toasting.
You’re invited to ring in 2020 in 1920s style at a New Year’s Eve affair unlike any other! San Antonio’s newest Eastside soigné cocktail bar, Pastiche, will transform into something straight out of a Fitzgerald novel with a celebration of the flapper-fueled Golden Age when hair was bobbed, jazz was king, and speakeasies were where those in the know could find a good drink. This lavish celebration is sure to razzle and dazzle.
Owner Benjamin Krick will be serving up his own special blend of magic in the form of cocktails inspired by the era and made from the bar’s signature blend of premium international ingredients.
Live jazz music will fill the house as guests mix, mingle and dance the night away in their fanciest Gatsby-esque finery while the champagne and good vibes flow. And, at the stroke of midnight, guests will raise a glass to good fortune as they eat 12 grapes, one at each stroke of the clock - a Spanish tradition to ward off bad luck and usher in 12 months of good fortune.
And because it’s been 100 years since we rung in 1920---only 100 tickets will be sold so get yours before they are gone. Tickets are $20 at the door and include toasting grapes and a glass of champagne. For pre-sale ticket information, follow @pastiche.sa on Facebook or Instagram. Cheers!
