Stay cozy & grounded this autumn with a four-course veggie-centric meal of seasonal ingredients, the food equivalent of your fav sweater
Who are we?
Ojas Ayurvedic Kitchen is an eating experience carefully crafted to have a centering effect on your whole being. We’re four friends bringing our expertise in yoga & Ayurveda together with our experience in food & nutrition, here to rebel against distraction & disconnection through slow, seasonal eating, even in a busy city.
We have been hosting four-course feasts at James Beard nominated restaurant, Mei Mei, for evenings of food for vibrant living. Each colorful veggie-centric course is served up alongside Ayurvedic information on each ingredient’s impact on the body and mind.
We source locally as often as possible, and have picked ingredients for this go-around to sync you with the rhythms of nature during the depth of autumn. Stay cozy and grounded as the cold winds start to blow with foods to delight your senses as fall turns to winter. We’ve chosen our ingredients based on earth-offerings this time of year, so we’ll be serving up the food equivalent of your favorite sweater, like a warm hug on a plate.
Ayurveda is a yogic science of living that recognizes the whole individual as a microcosm of nature. Our daily routines, including what we eat, can influence and increase our ojas, which is essentially our juiciness, immunity, and vitality that keeps us grabbing life by the horns. The Ayurvedic way of eating is seasonal, and recognizes the effect of foods on body, mind, and spirit. Our events are centered around the holistic experience of eating, which affects every aspect of our being, and includes every part of you.
