In the 1970s Tuscan winemakers started a revolution by bucking traditions and blending the local Sangiovese grape with popular French grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. These wines, termed "Super Tuscans," remain some of Tuscany's most celebrated wines today. In this three hour, in-depth class, you will taste a number of Super Tuscans along with the white and sweet wines made in Tuscany that fall outside of the traditional lines.
