Founded in 1978 in Seattle’s famed Pike Place Market, Glass Eye Studio is one of the largest privately-owned hot shops in the country with some of the most famous glass artists of the Pacific Northwest coming through the doors over the years. Since moving to the historic Ballard neighborhood, the studio continues to create the fine blown glass objects it has become best known for.
Exclusively for Refract Seattle we’re inviting Glass Eye founder Rob Adamson and some of our famous alums, along with other glassblowing greats, to the studio for the ultimate hot shop jam session! Martin Blank, Nancy Callan, Paul DeSomma, Karen Willenbrink-Johnsen & Michael Schunke, just to name a few, will collaborate with Chris Steffens and our team of artisan glassblowers to craft works of art on the fly.
Swing to the live tunes of The Dusty 45s while enjoying food from Two Shoe BBQ & Dottie’s Double Wide and drink from Fremont Mischief Distillery, Tinte Cellars & Stoup Brewing.
