Learning to appreciate Sake requires the same approach as understanding wine. With the purchase and consumption of sake steadily on the rise there is no better time than now to begin this approach. Join us for our first Sake lab, Introduction to Sake: The Basics, for the opportunity to get acquainted with the production, raw materials and various styles of sake.
This beginner’s guide to understand and appreciating one of the world’s oldest fermented beverages will be led by Brenda Poo, SSA Certified Sake Sommelier (WSET L3/FWS/CSW). Students will taste 5 sakes, coming away feeling confident in their next sake purchase. This class is suitable for anyone looking to venture into the wonderful world of sake!
