Often thought of as Napa Valley’s kid sister, Sonoma County is said to be the birthplace of California’s now-thriving wine industry. Over 500 wineries dot the landscape, with 17 AVAs, or American Viticulture Areas, producing wines from the Pacific Ocean to inland warm valleys.

1. Mac Roastie Chardonnay  $19.99

A great intensity of fresh, pure apple and white peach aromas with hints of baker's yeast and allspice plus a waft of honeysuckle.

2. Angels and Cowboys Rose $14.99

Flavors of white peach, nectarine, and fresh raspberry with lingering notes of lavender and Granny Smith apples. The weight is delicate and light with a subtle creaminess to balance enticing racy acidity.

3. Schug Winery Pinot Noir $21.99

Showcase the elegant side of Pinot Noir by aging in large neutral oak casks and older French oak barrels to keep new oak flavors to a minimum. Lively acidity on the finish makes it an ideal accompaniment to grilled fish and fowl or barbecued meats.

4.Cannonball Merlot  $14.99

On the palate the wine is medium-full bodied with great concentration, bursting with flavors of black cherries, rich chocolate and spiced cake.

5. Ravenswood Red Blend $13.99

Rich, robust, and round fruit flavors of blackberry, black cherry, and plum spiced with cardamom. The finish is smooth and satisfying.

!   Meet Scott Zanon and taste his wonderful offerings:

Zanon Sauvignon Blanc  $15.99

Aromas of Meyer lemon with nuances of freshly cut grass mingle with flavors of passionfruit, green apple, and grapefruit.

Zanon Zinfandel   $19.99

The wine exudes typical blackberry and raspberry aromas along with a dash of black pepper and warm baking spice. A long elegant finish is framed by a kiss of vanilla oak.

Wines will be accompanied by a selection of cheeses, crackers, canapes, artisan breads &olive oil. The cost for one flight (a sample of each of the wines) will be $17.
